Living At Home Park Rapids has staff that consists of a director, eldercare services coordinators, and a geriatric care manager/ caregiver support consultant. They can be reached during the day, Monday - Friday by phoning 218-732-3137.

Connie was born and raised in Park Rapids. She and her husband, Russ, have raised three children and are now doting grandparents to three grandsons and one granddaughter. Connie and Russ were licensed in daycare and foster care for almost 25 years. Connie started working for Living at Home as a Volunteer Service Coordinator in October of 2014. She assumed the role of executive director in October of 2015. Connie is enjoying this chapter in her life of helping seniors stay in the home of their choice.

Laurel Hed - Geriatric Care Manager/Caregiver Support Consultant

Laurel is a Licensed Social Worker who is originally from Thief River Falls. Laurel and her husband of almost 40 years (Loren) moved here from Gaylord, MN more than a decade ago and live on Palmer Lake. Laurel is well known in the community and is greatly respected and appreciated by her clients and peers. Laurel works part time for Living at Home as our Caregiver Support Coach & Volunteer Service Coordinator. Laurel also works part time for TSZ Law Office as a Geriatric Care Manager. Laurel is one of only a handful of people in Minnesota to be certified in Geriatric Care Management. Laurel and Loren have three grown, married children and 10 grandchildren.

Upcoming Events

"SAVE THE DATE" June 23 is our next Famous Rib Dinner. It will be held at the PR American Legion from 4:30-7:00. Come on out and have a great meal and great conversation with great friends. All in an effort to raise money so that Living at Home can keep doing what they do: help seniors so they can remain living in the home of their choice. Please tell your friends! We can't wait to see you all on June 23.
